| AKU start up in Germany |
| AKU trekking & outdoor footwear, the Italian company that specializes in the production of top quality mountain footwear, is launching a new distribution project for the German market. |

ISPO 2010 will see a combining of forces with Genfoot Europe Marketing, the Canadian company that is already the distributor of Kamik - the leading winter footwear brand in Germany.
The AKU collection will be distributed through a sales force comprising 12 agents operating throughout the whole German territory and coordinated by the sales manager Charly Marschner.
Apart from the traditional trekking and hiking footwear, which represent the company’s core business, AKU will also present to the market a modern professional mountaineering footwear range inspired by and based on the well-known model SPIDER KEVLAR GTX, which more than any other product in its category brought innovation in terms of style, comfort and technical precision.
The plan entails an intensive distribution of AKU products through all the outdoor and specialized footwear distribution channels aimed at achieving full coverage of the German market within the next 3 years.
AKU will be present at ISPO 2010 (Hall A6 Stand B100) for the presentation of no less than 11 new designs for the fall winter 2010 collection.
