| Grivel wins yet another Outdoor Industry Award! |
| In mid July during the friedrichshafen outdoor tradeshow, one of the most important outdoor fair , Grivel will be presented for the third time the Outdoor Industry Award. |

This time the winning element will be , Avatar , the revolutionary ice axe from outer space. Introducing for the first time ever an head made of magnesium just like the one used in F1 cars. The blade is made of Ni-Cro-Mo steel , hot forged with the possibility of changing its attack angle in order to always perform at it’s best in different situations.
The Aluminium 7075 multi grip shaft , makes movement and maneuverability easier, letting this way the climbers imagination run wild. The Outdoor industry award is now on it’s sixth edition , and has built quite a reputation in the industry in its past editions. Just last year there were 412 products participating, from 28 different countries...
The Outdoor Industry Award is given to objects with a highly innovative design and a highest quality standards.

You are more than welcome to attend the official awards ceremony which will be held during OutDoor in Friedrichshafen on July 14, 2011 at 5.30 p.m. at the Fashion Show Stage in Hall A02.
