| CAMP: Ski mountaineering championship, great results from our athletes! |
| Last week were held in Valcellina (PN) the ski mountaineering World Championship that have given the world titles in different categories and specialties. CAMP athletes got excellent results in one of the key event of the season. |

In the Espoir category we had high performance with Michele Boscacci and Robert Antonioli, who graduated world champion and vice-world champion in the individual race.
Michael, who won the Espoir World Cup in early February, also triumphed with a bronze medal in the vertical race, preceded for a few seconds by Robert who made an encore of silver medals.
Antonioli got the highest step in the sprint and relay races, this last in team with Manfred Reichegger that with his strong experience in the decade-long international exhibitions, brought home also a silver medal in the team event and was fifth in the individual race. So excellent championships also for Manfred, and collection of medals for these athletes!
Less luck for Damiano Lenzi that arrived twice at the foot of the podium, achieved the fourth place in the vertical and team races. Even Dennis Brunod, usually on the podium in important events, has had to deal with a bad influence that has limited powers and allowed him to stand just in the twelfth position in the vertical test.
Concerning our girls, Alessandra Cazzanelli won a silver medal in the relay and sprint races for Junior category, and a good fifth place in the vertical. Martina Valmassoi, new Italian champion, came fourth in the individual and fifth in the relay for Espoir group.
C.A.M.P. team wishes to express its sincere congratulations to everybody for the excellent results in this competitive race, and a great good luck for the forthcoming important events!
