February 2011: Lucas Preti, the Italian boulder champion, returns to Italy after studying at the Los Angeles Film School for a year. We were all there to greet him with: “demands for flexibility”, “ one off projects”, “unemployment”. Let's face it - he needed a job! March 2011: this is the height of the shipping period for the new La Sportiva range, meaning hectic schedules, frantic days, warehouses bursting at the seams and the coming and going of couriers, containers and shipping agents. Did they ever need an extra pair of hands!
Say no more, let’s call Lucas! Fear not, he and his brother are ready and willing to get down to some hard graft in the La Sportiva warehouse. There's just one condition: that they can film a typical day in the life of a warehouseman (what else?), to be used in a film project called “a day with your favourite sponsor”. The perfect agreement don't you think? Maybe... except for one small, unpredictable detail… Lucas hadn't considered the mind blowing effects of the music playing the warehouse…. Oh yes, Johnny Dorelli strikes again. Unfortunately, no one has since heard of the Preti Bros…. The only evidence we have is this video:
