History: The business of manufacturing quality mountain boots was started back in 1929 by Giuseppe Zamberlan, the father of our present Chairman, Emilio. Today, even Emilio’s son and daughter, the third generation of the family, are actively involved in the manufacturing, testing and selling of Zamberlan boots. The factory is located right at the foot of the Piccole Dolomiti, the ideal environment for testing new products.
Product & Philosophy: We at Zamberlan have always cared about quality, which we consider top priority. We use the best materials available on the market and the utmost care is taken in the manufacturing of all our products. Large investments are regularly made on researching and developing new moulds, materials, exclusive and speciality soles.
Technology: Besides the importance we place on craftsmanship and on the expert skills of our workers, technology has always been an extremely important issue for Zamberlan. Our technology can be considered avant-garde as we are continually updating machinery in order to ensure the best possible quality. Exclusive and specific methods of construction are often developed such as the F.W.S. (Foot Wrapping System) our exclusive method of moulding the tongue for a great fit, the R.R.S. (Rubber Reinforcement System) the one for the protection of the boot upper and structure, the Z.T.S. (Zamberlan Tacking System) for a strong construction of the boot, the Hydrobloc® concept for the protection from the elements, the Z.A.T. (Zamberlan Anti Torsion) for the ideal torsional stability and natural flexion in the Move&Run range. The production facility has recently been increased and renewed allowing now a much larger and modern production space. In addition brand new machinery are now in place to further improve the quality standard.
Team & Staff: “Our people make the difference”. This slogan explains the importance of the workers and their dedication in a manufacturing process which still involves a lot of handmade elements. The key people in production have been with us for many years and have greatly contributed to the growth of the Company.
