Desnivel magazine emphasized comfort and lightness of the Supernova harness
CAMP products are not afraid of the most demanding tests. We have developed the lightest and the most innovative mountain equipment and the international awards highlight this: they make us proud and happy and provide enthusiasts with information on which tools are really functional and durable.

In the last months several authoritative testers awarded CAMP harnesses. The Blitz model won the prestigious Guides Choice Award of the American Alpine Institute, the Jasper CR 4 was recommended by German magazine Klettern and the Supernova stood the three-month test of Spanish magazine Desnivel.

The Supernova was specifically developed for women in close collaboration with the strong American climber Paige Claassen. The Supernova started as a conceptual lightweight harness for high-end sport climbing, but proved so comfortable it became the ideal all-arounder. It features a modified Edge-Load construction that offers the best support-to-weight ratio.

Desnivel journalist Eva Martos was really surprised by comfort and lightness of the Supernova. She wrote on the magazine September issue that «the harness is effectively conceived considering the women's ergonomics. The leg loops are well designed for female thighs and they are adjustable too, covering a great range of sizes. Comfort is the most remarkable and immediately appreciable feature of the Supernova. The wide waist belt assures a good support in every situation and the gear loops are big and conveniently placed: they are ideal for trad routes that need a lot of gear». Inner fabric and 3 mm EVA foam guarantee great breathability and the pre-threaded buckle on the waist is safe and easy to adjust. Eva Martos appreciated also the haul loop, ideal both for approach-descent shoes and for the haul rope.

Paige Claassen loves the versatile Supernova: she wore it also during her recent awesome ascent of Art Attack (8c) on Sasso Remenno. So she heartily recommend it, on both the most difficult sport routes and the most beautiful mountain ascents.
