Arc'teryx: lightweight traveling and commuting with new AC2 packs and duffles
Vancouver, B.C. - The brand that revolutionized the manufacture of backpacks introduces its AC2 technology into urban focused bags. Arc’teryx brings out the incredibly lightweight Carrier Duffles, 30, 50 and 100, in Spring/Summer 2014.

Exceptionally lightweight, the Carrier Duffle has deceiving strength due to the fabric; a thin, pliable, coated nylon textile that not only can be cut and sewn, it can also be laminated. The result is a fully taped and sealed construction that gives the duffles puncture resistant resiliency and weatherproof performance that is worthy of expeditions. With 680 g only, the Carrier Duffle 100 amounts roughly half the weight as its competitors.

Equipped with a removable shoulder strap and four grab handles, the duffles are easy to transport and transfer through transit, airports and security. Dual zippers provide pinpoint access to contents. Compact, lightweight and maneuverable, the carriers are a modern take on the classic duffle.

Also new for Spring 2014 are unique, very technical but contemporary Lunara 10/ 17 messenger bags and Carrier Duffles that are notably lighter and harder wearing than other urban carriers. Using a thin, pliable textile and a taped and sealed construction, these bags are weatherproof in the worst conditions, safeguarding electronic devices and personal contents in a downpour.

The landscape of travel and commuting has changed. This is why Arc’teryx adapted its technical knowledge to fit urban needs.
