UPPER	HYDROBLOC® SPLIT LEATHER/CORDURA® The combination of Hydrobloc® specially treated first choice split leathers and Cordura® will ensure lightweight and comfort. Footwear with this type of upper is suitable for the outdoors or cross training.
UPPER PROTECTION	R.R.S. "RUBBER REINFORCEMENT SYSTEM" A rubber reinforcement is applied to the upper for protection using an innovative and exclusive technical method developed by Zamberlan®. It ensures maximum abrasion resistance at high wear areas of the upper as well as enhancing water resistance and helping the boot to keep its shape during extended use.
HARDWARE	H.R.T. "HIGH RESISTANCE TREATMENT" All our hardware is designed to allow a smooth passage of the laces. D-rings and hooks receive the high resistance treatment to ensure maximum resistance to corrosion.
LINING	GORE-TEX® An extremely waterproof and breathable micro porous membrane which can be used to make a lining in outdoor footwear. Its structural characteristics allow moisture from the foot to pass through but keep water out.
FOOTBED	ZAMBERLAN® 3-ACTION- FOOTBED Specifically designed to respect the foot anatomy, reduce heel strike, follow the natural foot movement during the walking exercise, reduce muscle fatigue Innovative design and tech materials are combined together to provide the ideal comfort and performance. It features: highly resilient heel cushioning element for soft landing and shock absorption; mid to rear foot component in highly resilient anatomically shaped rubber for a very stable foot, better balance and alignment; forefoot element in soft density EVA for extra comfortable cushioning; top cover to reduce friction, absorb and move away moisture, reduce blistering and bacteria; forefoot grooves to follow the natural foot movement during take off and allow air flow; side grooves to allow air flow and adjustable foot support; mid-foot cushion area to improve comfort and foot massage; comfortable and rounded heel pocket to wrap foot heel.
PADDING	Z.A.S. "ZAMBERLAN AIR SYSTEM" Zamberlan special construction and design method and choice of components to optimize the comfort and the boot breathability, thanks to a special padding foam. Boots crafted accordingly are extremely light weight and extremely more breathable!
INSOLE/SHANK	ZAMBERLAN DURAFLEX A highly supportive midsole with superb torsional rigidity, it has a polypropylene core stiffened by a fiberglass insert. A non-woven fabric to ensure comfort and thermal insulation tops it, and it lays on a non-woven fabric added with fiberglass, to further enhance the specifications of rigidity and resistance to traction. It is designed for technical mountaineering boots where the high level of stability is essential.
TOE AND HEEL	THERMOPLASTIC The toe puff and heel counter are made from an extruded thermoplastic material which is pre-shaped on special machine. They provide excellent protection for the foot and help maintain a good shape in boot even after extended use.
SOLE PACKAGE	ZAMBERLAN® VIBRAM® NorWALK + PCS Exclusive Zamberlan® Vibram® sole that features: dual density soft TPU wedge to optimize flexion, stability and comfort and to absorb the foot impact on terrein, large contact toe and heel area for better grip and extended durability, flexion lines for improved rolling, comfort and self cleaning action, carefully positioned multidirectional lugs to ensure the maximum traction and brake, smaller lugs help improve the grip and traction. It also features the Zamberlan TPU PCS heel insert for step-in crampons.
CONSTRUCTION	GTX BOOTEE The GORE-TEX® membrane is thermo-sealed sealed into a bootee that is then fixed to the boot upper. When the boot is lasted, the bootee is fixed to the midsole with a small quantity of glue.
