Feline Gore-Tex
The skills range required in the alpine environment provided the
starting point for the development of the alpine running shoe Feline
Superlight. While many companies begin with running shoes designed for
level ground and try to develop them for mountain usage, DYNAFIT has
taken the opposite approach. The basis was taken to be the know-how of
climbing soles, the precise fit of ski touring boots, experience in
balancing light weight and speed, and uncompromising athletic
requirements. The result after three years of development is a
super-light, rugged Alpine Running shoe designed to out preform all
others in high-altitude mountain terrain.
The core of the construction is the revolutionary sole/midsole
technology. The Dynafit Alpine Running sole system offers cushion and
stability available only on heavier shoes. This makes them also suitable
for ultra running alpine marathon. The Multi Pad Midsole conform
immediately to Mountain Terrain for secure footing and guarantee a
precise and reliable hold while the Mapping Compound by Vibram® ensures a
claw-like grip on mud or wet and difficult ground. A main feature is
the Athletic Fit developed for this model that supports the pattern of
body movements, promotes muscular coordination and increases balance and
control.
The laces are protected by the Invisible Lacing construction, a half
gaiter which protects them from accidental opening but also allow the
regulation and the tensioning of the shoe toe box. Additional feature is
the Ballistic Bumper which offers unique stability and protects
toenails. The Feline is equipped with a device called Aura Activator
which increase the athletes performance, resistance and equilibrium
through the activation of a biocompatible wave.
